Nature of Problem
 For doors and windows to open and close easily, they must have gaps between the edges of door and window and the frame and floor. However, these necessary gaps also allow the intrusion of undesirable objects such as:
• Air Flow Noise, Traffic  Noise
• Smoke and fire
• Rain water
• Hot air
• Cold wind
• Light
• Odour
• Insects and vermin
• Dust
 At the same time, they allow the leakage of:
• Air conditioning’s cool or hot air
• Light from residence
• Chatter sound
• Important conversation
Solution
 The solution is to select appropriate door and window seal product to seal the gaps around door and window without impeding its normal use. LIYUN door and window seal product is an effective sealing product. LIYUN seals are frequently multi-purpose, effectively sealing gaps to prevent above intrusions and leakage. Properly selected and fitted, they can provide a complete and continuous seal various gaps at doors and windows without impeding their normal function.
Product Series
Depending on type of door or window, sealing requirement, place of use, and seal location, LIYUN seal product series provide a series of specialised seal products for different doors and windows, different positions, and different places. The key functions of these products can be divided into: Door Bottom Seal Series, Door Edge Seal Series, Astragal Seal Series, Door Threshold Series, Flexible Strip Series, Hot Smoke and Fire Rating Series and others.
Major Materials
  LIYUN seals use standard materials unless otherwise specified:

      Aluminium
 Aluminium surface is anodised in silver, brown or golden yellow colour (unless otherwise specified).
      Neoprene rubber
 Neoprene rubber strips are usually extruded in dies, and slit, thus giving a smooth surface. Service temperature ranges from -40°C to 70°C.
     PVC
 Virgin PVC is used. When PVC is exposed to sunlight, UV inhibitor is added. Service temperature ranges from -5°C to 70°C.
     Silicon
 Comparing to other soft material, silicon can withstand extreme heat and cold. Service temperature ranges from -60°C to 230°C.
     EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer)
 EPDM was originally developed for the automotive industry to withstand the rigours of compression, heat, cold, water, abrasion, and ozone, UV light and aging. EPDM rubber has  an exceptional memory. It can resume its original shape after long periods of compression. LIYUN products uses closed
 cell using EPDM which is extruded with dies and not slit, giving a smooth, non-porous surface. Service temperature ranges from –40°C to 70°C.
     TPR (Thermo Plastic Rubber)
 It is similar to but exceeds EPDM’s performance characteristics. Service temperature ranges from -40°C to 100°C.
    Q-Lon
 A Lifetime of Energy Efficiency
 The design of Q-Lon ensures that the maximum weather seal is always obtained, so it more than exceeds any long-term window performance guarantees.
 Exceptional performance maintained over a wide temperature range. Doesn’t shrink or stretch, even in extreme climatic conditions.
 Excellent memory- retains its original shape year after year to maintain an excellent weather seal.
 Non-Flammable Silicon
 Comparing to other soft material, Non-flammable silicon can withstand extreme heat and  cold. Service temperature ranges from -60°C to 230°C
Finishes Anodising
 Anodising process adds corrosion resistance and durability to the aluminium extrusions. Finishes include silver, bronze, or golden yellow, and can satisfy most users’ requirement.

      Mill Finish
 Mill finish is the raw finish of aluminium.
      Colour
 We can match any colour by special surface treatment such as electrostatic powder coating.
       Product Colour
 “Outer colour” in the manual refers to the colour of the support carrier frame. If the product is made of one material, “outer colour” is the product’s main colour.
Installation
     Screwed
 When LIYUN seal is fixed with screws, colour matching self-tapping screws and accessories are included.
     Adhesion
 When LIYUN seal is fixed by adhesion, adhesive tape is provided at appropriate location.
     Insertion
When LIYUN seal is inserted into mortised groove, refer to inserted portion’s outer dimension for groove mortising. It is suggested that the actual product dimension be used for mortising.
