The springs mechanize to lift the seal tip clear of the floor as soon as the door panel is open by a few mm away from the door frame. Install seal into 15mmW X 34mmD groove (groove cut by user) fixed in position by the two End Plates and screws supplied.

It is operated automatically by spring pressure against the door jamb on its adjusting knob. If used as a system in acoustic sealing, this self levelling seal has been shown to be an effective acoustic seal.
